Miller Tower's Clock in Action

A few weeks ago, the students of the Senior, and one Junior!, seminar st485 made the trip from Miller 319 to the clock tower. In addition to the beautiful view overlooking all central Maine, the internals of Colby's clock were amazing. Here is a short video of it that I shot with my iphone.

Recently UAV updates

Recently, Dan Opalacz and I (Foster Huntington) have been spending a lot of time working on our project to start a NASA like organization that uses small, cheap, UAV's for research throughout Maine. Funded by the Goldfarb Center for Civic Engagement, we are already way ahead of schedule in the build process and will start moving towards increasing awareness about the project, recruiting underclassmen to be part of the team, and use the UAVs for scientific research.

The build process, mission reports and general updates about the project will be updated weekly on the blog, uavbuild.blogspotcom. Dan and I envision the blog as a reference for other students who are thinking about using UAV's.
